Resolving a Manifestation
RESOLVING A MANIFESTATION
☞ What happens if I want my character to resolve their Manifestation?
If you are ready for your character to resolve their Manifestation, you can submit the information to this page. You're not required to have your character resolve their Manifestation; this is only if you want to change the direction of your character in game, feel that they've reached a point where resolving their Manifestation makes sense, or have threaded out a resolution of their Manifestation in game.
☞ Do I have to drop my character once their Manifestation has been resolved?
Not at all! If you would like to stay in game, you can give your character a new Manifestation which will be beholden to the same rules as the original Manifestation section of the application.
☞ Does my character need a new Manifestation if they are staying in the game?
Yes. Your character cannot remain in the game without a Manifestation.

Sample resolution
Character name: Gerald Greybeard
Original app link: Here
Manifestation name: Consumed Greg
How did your character resolve their Manifestation? Gerald finally faced his lingering guilt for his role in the death of his father Greg. After many conversations with his friends Bruce Wayne and Frodo Baggins, Gerald realized that blaming himself for his father's death was unproductive and damaging and was only serving to hold him back from his true potential. Consumed Greg now had no power over him, and therefore was weak enough to be destroyed for good.
Are you now planning to send this character home? No
New Manifestation
Character flaws/traumas: Gerald has come to terms with his father's death, but this now means he is finally facing the fate of his mother Sally, whose own hubris almost killed her as she tried to use Light magic to destroy the Darkness in his home world. Before coming to the game he had just discovered that she wasn't dead but was still suffering the effects of Light magic poisoning, which had almost killed Gerald too. He's dealing with resentment and anger towards his mother for being selfish enough to damage herself by trying to harness Light magic, which she knew would likely result in killing her or at least making her sick enough to have to leave Gerald behind.
New Manifestation name: Glowing Sally
Character trait(s) the Manifestation reflects: His complicated feelings about his mother, including his resentment of her choice to harness Light magic, have led to his new Manifestation resembling her.
Description: Glowing Sally is a humanoid creature of blinding blue-white light that hurts to look at directly. It has no discernible features but has the same shape as Gerald's mother. It crawls on all fours, limping and clearly sick, and periodically lets out screams of pain and anguish.
Attacks and behavior: Glowing Sally mostly attacks by trying to scratch and bite its targets. Because Gerald has learned to work more collaboratively with others and has formed close relationships with several other characters in game, Glowing Sally will sometimes overlook Gerald in favor of attacking any close friends who may be nearby instead.
Path towards resolution: Gerald is in a much better place to face this new Manifestation, especially since he's been in game for eight months at this point, though the new Manifestation will also unearth a lot of unresolved trauma about his mother's current state and the fact that his father hid the truth of her continuing survival from him. To attempt to resolve this Manifestation, Gerald will have to forgive his mother, something he will find very difficult to do, as the resolution of his previous Manifestation means he cares more about other characters as he has a found family of his own in Rhodos, and can no longer conceive of doing what Sally did, especially since he has a close father-daughter relationship in game with Arya Stark.
